I'm a student in Trinity (from Monaghan) doing an essay on 'the war in Monaghan'. I have Fr. Livingstone's book 'The Monaghan Story' but was wondering if you knew of any memoirs or secondary sources knocking about that might deal with sectarianism and how this may have limited the ability of the IRA to function during the war of independence. Also, any help on particular stories in the Standard between 1919-1921 would be very helpful.
