J.B.S. McIlwaine, Annaghroe House, Caledon & Glaslough

Hi,

I am doing some research on a chap called John Bedell Stainford MacIlwaine, Artist & Inventor, who at one time (early 1920's) was resident in Annaghroe House, Caledon, Co. Tyrone where I understand he had a poultry breading/ egg prduction business. I would really like to find out more about his time in Caledon and his time in Glaslough, Co. Monaghan and would be grateful for any information that you might have? I have read that he was friendly with the Leslie Family and that he was a bit of a socialite!

Many thanks,

Emer

I have visited Annaghroe House, taken pictures of it & also a picture of the huge walnet tree in front of the house. It is just across the Border in County Tyrone
